One of my favorite parts of introducing people to MindShifting isn’t the lectures or the exercises but the conversations they spark. It’s the moment when someone says, “Oh wait… here is how that helped me,” and suddenly a whole room lights up with recognition. There’s something deeply human about discovering our patterns together. It makes the learning more fun, more honest, and a lot more powerful.
That’s why I want to talk about book clubs.
Book clubs have a kind of magic that you just can’t manufacture alone. Human beings are social animals, we enjoy being with and we learn from others. You’re sitting with people you trust (or are just getting to know), and together you explore ideas that are personal but universal. You hear stories. You share your own. You compare notes on how your brain reacts to stress, to conflict, to change. You discuss challenges and ways to overcome those challenges. And within those conversations, insights build capabilities and successes.
For anyone interested in bringing MindShifting into their book club, you now have two great entry points:
The first book : MindShifting: Stop Your Brain from Sabotaging Your Happiness and Success
And the upcoming second book: MindShifting: Conflict and Collaboration — arriving December 1.
Both books come from the same core belief:
Self-Awareness Is Step One. Growth starts with recognizing your own thinking patterns and emotional triggers.
MindShifting: Stop Your Brain from Sabotaging Your Happiness and Success

The first book focuses on how our automatic thoughts, emotional triggers, and internal scripts hijack us—often without our knowing it. It shows you how to gain that small but powerful pause between reaction and response. When you see your own patterns at work, you start to rewrite the ones that no longer serve you.
Reading this in a group makes the experience ten times richer. Everyone starts connecting the dots:
- “Oh, that’s my script.”
- “Wait, I thought I was the only one who did that!”
- “I didn’t realize how much that story shaped my choices.”
- “What a cool way to break out of those patterns.”
We’re all human. We all have internal voices sabotaging our success. We’re all learning.
MindShifting: Conflict and Collaboration

The upcoming second book (subtitled ‘Volume 3’…long story but Volume 2 will be out in 2027) dives into an area where most of us struggle: conflict.
Not the big, dramatic kind necessarily—though it covers those too—but the everyday frictions that wear us down. Misunderstandings. Old stories. Reactive habits. Defensiveness that comes out of nowhere.
This book explores how shifting our mindset—from fear to playfulness, from judgment to curiosity—can turn conflict into connection and collaboration. And I’ll be honest: these chapters were written for the world we’re living in right now. A world that feels divided, angry, reactive. A world hungry for deeper dialogue.
And that’s where book clubs come in.
Reading Together
When you read this material with others, you hear real stories about real relationships. You talk about conflicts at work, friction with family, or those moments when your brain went into full “protect at all costs” mode. You explore what happened, why it happened, and what could be different next time.
That shared reflection creates momentum.
- It builds confidence.
- It builds connection.
- It builds community.
I’ve always said that my goal is to bring MindShifting to five million people—or at least to start. And I believe book clubs are one of the best ways to do that. Not because of scale, but because of impact.
When a group reads together, they reinforce each other’s insights. They carry the ideas into their conversations, their workplaces, their families. They spread the shift.
If you decide to bring either book into your club, I’ve made it easy to get started. You’ll find discussion guides, suggested formats, prompts, and tools to help shape your conversations—all designed to make your group feel confident, supported, and energized.
You can explore those resources HERE
Whether your club is big or small, formal or just a group of friends who enjoy thinking together, these materials will help you run a meaningful, enjoyable, and memorable shared experience.
Thank you for reading, and thank you for bringing this work into your world.
I can’t wait for you to dive into the new book on December 1 and I really can’t wait to hear what your group discovers together.
Here’s to conversation, curiosity, and community.
Here’s to shifting, one insight at a time.
